Notes: Published in the Bodley Heads Ninepenny Novels series, I have checked the titles listed in the book on Copac and the latest date I can find is 1930, so I would suggest that this book dates from 1930/31. The covers are still firmly attached, though splitting at the joins, the spine is complete, but rubbed and creased, the corners of the covers are somewhat dog-eared and creased. The text block is somewhat age-browned with minor foxing, it is free from inscriptions. A very rare and visually appealing edition of this early Christie title.
