The Coat of Arms
Publisher: Hutchinson
Edition: First Edition
Publish Year: 1931
Condition: Good
Jacket Condition: Fair
Notes: Conforms to the issue points for the first edition, Autumn 1931 catalogue to the rear and the dust jacket priced at 7/6 net to the spine. The book is firmly and squarely bound in clean red boards lettered in black. The text block bears stamps from an institution of some kind: Polda Stn, Port Lincoln, possibly a military base, requesting that people should take care of the book. There is foxing to the edges with a lesser degree to some pages internally and there is a neat name to the inside front board. The dust jacket is the original, it has been backed onto blue card to preserve it, it is chipped and rubbed with the remains of a sticker to the spine and some spotting. A rare Wallace 1st, particularly with the jacket.
