Notes: The book is tightly bound and square in clean light blue boards, which are slightly faded at the edges and spine, the gilt lettering to the spine is somewhat tarnished. The text block is uniformly slightly age-browned and has some minor foxing to the top edge. The dust jacket is the original and not price clipped(though the corner of the front flap has been clipped), it has some tiny chips, minor edge wear and a few short closed tears with associated creasing, it is also a little faded to the spine. The sequel to 'Out of the Silent Planet', 'Perelandra' is the middle title of Lewis' space trilogy. Although this copy is not without faults, due to the fragile war time production it is actually a significantly better example than most that appear on the market.
